Measuring for recess fit
- Place the tape measure against the internal revel (inside of the frame) of the window.
- Measure side to side for width.
- Measure top to bottom for height.
Measuring as accurately possible to ensure the best fit for your vertical blinds.
Measuring for facefit
To measure the width of your blinds, hook the tape measure onto the architraves side to side and then add 100mm to both sides for proper coverage.
For example: if your window is 2000mm then you will add 100mm to the left and 100mm to the right. The total measruement for the width is now 2200mm.
To measure the height/drop of your window, hook the tape measure to the top of architrave and bring it down to the bottom of the window architrave. Alternatively, bring the tape measure down to where you would like the blind to end.
